Dr. Maria Klawe, the fifth president of Harvey Mudd College, is a national leader in promoting women's participation in STEM fields and has led Harvey Mudd's effort that began in 2006 to quadruple its representation of women in computer science majors to 40 percent—the same percentage as the school's student body. Hear about her background and accomplishments as a computer scientist and her record of advocating for more women to enter the STEM fields, as well as her efforts to bridge the gender gap in engineering and computer science at Harvey Mudd.

Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP online at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Klawe.
