Time-delayed gamma-ray signatures of heavy axions from core-collapse supernovae
Joshua Benabou, UC Berkeley,

Axiverse constructions may generically give rise to heavy axions that couple to both QED and QCD with masses in the MeV – GeV range and decay constants above ∼10^8 GeV. I discuss the most sensitive search to-date for such heavy axions using Fermi-LAT data towards four recent supernovae: Cas A, SN1987A, SN2023ixf, and SN2024ggi.

The talk is in 469 Lauritsen.
