Former NIH Director Harold Varmus to be Caltech Commencement Speaker

WHAT: The 109th commencement ceremony at the California Institute of Technology.
WHEN: 10 a.m. June 13
WHERE: Beckman Lawn south of Beckman Auditorium in the center of campus.
STATS: Numbers of graduates: 242 bachelor's recipients, 111 master's, and 137 Ph.D. recipients, for a total of 490 graduates.
SPEAKER: Nobel laureate Harold Varmus, former National Institutes of Health director and currently the president and chief executive officer of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
